HouseTab Brings Android Users Mobile Payments with a Social Twist

Revolutionary New App Announces Launch on Google Play

NEW YORK, NY – (For Immediate Release) HouseTab, the first-ever mobile payment application to incorporate social capabilities, including a chat and the ability to send a drink, dish or even a hookah to a friend from anywhere at any time will now be available for Android users. Due to the growing demand since its launch on iOS earlier this summer, HouseTab launches on Google Play to let Android users join the conversation and the drinking.

HouseTab decided it was best to launch iPhone first and work out any possible kinks before making it available to Android users. “This approach allowed our team to make any necessary changes and get it right before we shared it across both platforms,” said Andrew Tauber, CEO of HouseTab.

HouseTab is the newest player to join the mobile payment trend, but is the first to change the game by adding a social twist. Users can not only pay for their tab on the go without waiting for their check, but can also see who is checked in at various venues, chat in real-time and send various items to anyone on the network at any given time, no matter where they are. “One of the best things about HouseTab is the social fun that we combined with mobile payments” said Patrick Campi, Founder of the company. “Users can send a drink to a friend from anywhere at anytime, and make new friends, all within one app”.

HouseTab streamlines the bar experience by offering convenience through its mobile payment element while encouraging interaction through its social network. The application is currently accepted in top hotspots across New York, Hamptons and Brooklyn including Local West, Windsor, Surf Lodge and Park Luncheonette. They will be launching in additional venues this fall.
