Strategic partnership of technology and content has initially been contracted to an undisclosed government agency of 35,000 team members as a pilot program.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (June 9, 2015) – SkillFitness, LLC announced a partnership with Leadership Ecademy, LLC to deliver a unique leadership development and coaching solution to provide material and logistics support for a pilot of 35,000 team members and, eventually, an array of companies in a variety of industries.
The objective of the pilot is to train and coach team members within a contracted government agency through OneSource Professional Training Solutions, Inc. The combined resources present an array of leadership development skill classes and individual coaching, powered by SkillFitness. This partnership is formulated through a shared vision to provide meaningful learning and development experiences for personnel that delivers immediate and long-lasting results.
Bill Young, President of SkillFitness, stated “Leadership Ecademy understands the power of coaching and feedback to deliver long-term results. Its program is the first to fully leverage those aspects of the SkillFitnessTM platform to deliver a complete evidence-based training and coaching solution. Leadership Ecademy’s “One Hour, One Day, One Month” coaching enforcement technique is a terrific match with our ‘learn, practice, share, prove’ learning system.”
Tom Smith, Managing Partner for Leadership Ecademy, added, “The SkillFitness patent pending platform offers us an opportunity to create an integrated solution that includes virtual role play and reflective exercises to better develop leadership competencies for the armed forces and other government and private sector clients. Our combined approach will assure compliance with leadership skill building and job requirements.”
Terms of the technology licensing agreement were not disclosed, other than that they included cross marketing and renewal options. The agreement reflects plans by both organizations to offer and promote the combined Leadership Ecademy courses and solutions across many industries where leadership and business skills development can create value.
