UK College of Business and Computing appears in the Metro

  • Adverts reach out to London audience
  • Appearance in leading publication to boost interest in further education
  • Relationship set to enhance college enrolment

Reaching out to potential students is a key objective for any education institution, and it’s one that has lead London’s UK College of Business and Computing (UKCBC) toadd a traditional advertising medium into its marketing mix. In partnership with the widely circulated Metro and Evening Standard newspapers, the college is running a series of adverts to raise awareness of alternative pathways to Higher Education, that are open to prospective students enrolling at the college.

“The Metro represents one of the capital’s most important and widely read publications, so we decided to work with the newspaper in reaching out to a new audience,” said Zaheer Jaffri, Head of Marketing. “As a London-based organisation, we believe that targeting Metro’s audience will prove beneficial to us as a higher education college, but also to those who are looking for alternative pathways to the traditional academic route of university education.”

The UKCBC specialises in providing students with an array of course and qualification options tailored to helping students in furthering their ambitions both academically and in their professional careers. As a viable alternative to full-time university study, the college’s selection of courses caters to the needs of its students, with a flexible study schedule accommodating those with work and family commitments.

Zaheer Jaffri continued in saying “It’s our firm belief that higher education should be available to all. The university route is not suitable for everyone and there are alternatives. By choosing to work with these newspapers, we aim to inform the diverse community of London, alongside the younger generation, that UKCBC is one of London’s premier colleges and has the potential to help shape their future.”

Look out for the latest adverts from the UKCBC appearing in the Metro and Evening Standard over the coming weeks, or contact the college direct to find out more about the courses and facilities available. Visit today for more information.
